Hello, my friends and followers!! Has spring sprung in your world yet? My garden is bursting with goodness and spring flowers are starting to bloom fiercely, as you can see by the bright fuchsia blossoms of the Fringe Flower tree near my front door in the banner picture.
Site Update!
If you’ve been looking at the site, you have noticed that I have an all-new design, with better functionality, quicker loading times, and an updated look for 2024. I’m hoping you enjoy the new look/feel as well, and find it easier to navigate and get the content you are looking for. We’ve added contact forms throughout the pages as well, to make it easier for you to get in touch with me, whether to make an appointment, ask for an interview, or comment privately on my blog posts. (Speaking of which, I’ll be adding a new post in a couple of days, so stay tuned.)
Got any feedback on the new design? Is everything working for you on your device? Got suggestions to improve it further? Find any typos (my NEMESIS!)? Let me know if you are having any problems with the new site. Email me at gloria@gloriabrame.com and I’ll get my crack team to fix it for you.
Women’s Health Interview
In this week’s Glorious news, check out a recent interview I gave to Women’s Health about kink and fetishes.
link: https://www.womenshealthmag.com/sex-and-love/a18371849/9-sexual-fetishes-youve-never-heard-of-before/
Have you heard about all of these? Of course, even 27 choices barely scratches the surface of the hundreds of fetishes that exist but this is a great way to present some of the lesser-known types of fun. It reminds us how diverse people are in their sexual choices, whether inside the BDSM world or outside. That’s why I pointed out that not everyone who has a fetish is necessarily a BDSMer. Just as not every BDSMer is a fetishist. It’s a wide, wonderful world of sexual diversity out there, folks, filled with delicious variations everywhere you turn.
Did you recognize all 27 fetishes? Heck, do you have all 27? I’d love to know. Even if your fetish isn’t listed, you’ll feel better about yourself knowing how many different kinds of interests made it into this article, including some that you never even heard about. Read it here.
The Alarmist Podcast
I also appeared on The Alarmist Podcast, a comic spin on history and social politics hosted by writer/comedian Rebecca Delgado-Smith. She was so much fun to talk to. We laughed and laughed off-camera too. Great experience! If you have time, you can listen to this doubled-up show — or you can go to 33+ minute mark to find me. They had me on to discuss the Armie Hammer case. I wrote a couple of blogs about the story when it was making big headlines: Fetish is Not the Problem: Armie Hammer Is and Hammer’s Public Fail is Our Learning Experience.
At the end of the interview, Rebecca asked me who was to blame for the horrendous hullabaloo about his behavior. Can you guess what I answered??
You can listen to The Alarmist on Apple Podcasts or follow them on Instagram to add a bit more humor to your life.
I hope 2024 is treating you well! I’ll be blogging at you again in a couple of days with what I hope will be a comforting article for you all — talking about how to keep on keeping on even when — especially when — you’re worried that you are stuck in a negative rut about your sexual identity.
Again, let me know if our new site design works for you!
With love and much hope for a better future for us all,
Gloria
