If you celebrated any holidays last week, I hope you celebrated with style and I wish you an even better New Year.
The sex news cycle rolled along with a lot of shocks, some big laughs, and the tragically sweet smell of justice. The number 1 attention grabber this week was an authoritative study that shows trans/nonbinary kids deserve to be treated according to their self-definition. Also catching views, the true story of how Homeland Security hideously botched a sex sting and ended up exploiting sex-workers and putting them out of their jobs while the case crumbled around them. Meanwhile, a BDSM Community scandal has escalated to a Vancouver courtroom, and no matter how it works out, a lot of people are being hurt. Fourth place went to the tabloid story about a woman whose husband’s taste in art has left a permanent mark on the marriage. Finally, in fifth place, a hate-spewing youth pastor who rose to fame on his homophobia was just sentenced to 1008 years for abusing little boys.
