Still, We’ve Always Had a Soft Side
A train of thought that didn’t fit into the article is that some forms of fetish play have always involved a “soft dom.” There are some sissies, for example, who want to be punished; and there are some who just want to be teased. In age play fetishes, foot fetishes, and, really, almost all fetishes — including bondage, of course — some people have always preferred the sensuality and mind voyage of tactile painless pleasure over painful pleasure.
