My eldest nephew, Matthew, read next.

Death in itself is nothing; but we fear
To be we know not what, we know not where.
--Dryden

Then my younger nephew, Jason, read. He and his wife are expecting their first child in a few short weeks.

My father will never see his great-grandchild. But the child, a boy, will be named for him.

Fear no more the heat o' th' sun
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Though thy worldly task hast done,
Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages.
Golden lads and girls all must,
As chimney-sweepers, come to dust.

--Shakespeare
